Grandfather's short stories were written as family stories, to be shared with children at bedtime or suppertime. They are humorous or educational; hopefully they will bring a smile to every member of the family. They were written to counteract the overwhelming amount of bad or stressful news of our times. The stories are written in a family language, but do contain some words that will not be familiar to children. This allows an opportunity for vocabulary building.
